Black-Tactical’s Limited Edition Metal Mags/Clips For Nerf Blasters

If your not familiar with Black-Tactical, it’s a tactical gear site based in Singapore. They sell a good variety of high quality tactical gear, including accessories, scopes, sights, stocks, and even Nerf equipment. Which includes blaster kits, springs, epoxy, and more.

One of their latest releases are Metal Mags/Clips for our Nerf blasters. They call it the Aureus Alpha, or “The Golden One”. Check out their details and some of my thoughts on them below.

Version 2.0: Its the same high quality build, now mass produced cheaper!

After intensive R&D, Black-Tactical.com presents the Aureus Alpha, “The Golden One”. A Limited Edition Custom Made Metal Magazine Machined to fit Standard NERF Sockets for Professional NERFers.

Arseholes stepping on your plastic mags and breaking them
Standard 6 Round Mags too little ammo
Extended 18 Round Mags are too long and cannot fit any known pouches and cumbersome to handle

Metal Machined Body for Crush Resistance
Fits 12 Standard NERF Streamline or Ferdelance Darts
Fits All Standard STANAG M4/M16 or AK47 7.62 Magazine Pouches.
Orange/Gold Safety Colour to conform to most country’s import laws.
100% Anodized inside and out to protect against wear resistance and alu oxidization.
Metal Breach modified guns will benefit from more precise engineering with little or NO movement play when loaded in the magazine well. Allowing more efficient and precise round Feeding & Chambering and thus more accuracy.

Alpha Trooper:
Problem with the stupid Alpha trooper catch is that it is bigger than every other catch, so we favored machining it so that it will fit ALL OTHER magazine wells PERFECTLY with little or no movement play. HOWEVER a nail file on this stupid fat alpha catch solves the problem within seconds.

Thank You:
As part of the NERF community, Black-Tactical.com thank you for your continued support to create more Professional Accessories! For those who understand manufacturing would know that it cost a lot to create this. We are already pricing it as low as we can afford to already, so please buy more!

XPLORER Xshot Challenge in Singapore is Testing Nerfer’s Skills & Offering Great Prizes

If you haven’t heard of Xplorer (can’t believe I’ve never posted about them on my site) their a Singapore Nerf Company specializing in modifying plunger based blasters for Stefans. The Longshot & Stampede are their most extensive work. They feature blaster kits, accessories, springs, and more on their site. Their Longshot Ultimate Upgrade Kit is said to go over 260 FPS (Feet Per Second) on their site. To put that into perspective, most modded flywheel blasters go about 85-110 FPS. Airsoft Guns indoors in Southern CA are often limited to 300-350 FPS.

While I’ve never bought anything from them (in part to their high prices) I did want to let you guys know about an event their hosting on June 8, 2014. Instead of a usual or assumed Nerf War of some sort, their doing a shooting/target challenge. People who enter must go through a timed challenge in which they shoot targets and try to compete for the highest times. You can RSVP and view the rules on their Facebook event here.

And the prizes? Their looking great. The top five finishers all get a prize of some sort.

1st Place: A Xshot Xplorer blaster. This is a new homemade blaster from the company, and details are scarce on it. However, you can view more information in this teaser video.
2nd Place: Xplorer Exclusive Ultimate Longshot Kit, 528 Singapore Dollar Value
3rd Place: Xplorer Longshot Trooper Kit, 268 Singapore Dollar Value
4th-5th Place: Sponsor Prizes

Entry fee is 60 Singapore Dollars. You can sign up on their site here.

It’s always a great thing to hear when Nerf Wars & Nerf Events are planned, and just as good when they go through without too many negative incidents. I hope their event goes well!

8 New Things We Learned From PSYKSG’s Mega Series Magnus Unboxing Video

PSYK priming back the new Mega Series Magnus

Yesterday, Singapore Modder PSYK released an unboxing video of the upcoming Mega Series Magnus. We learned some new things like how to load the blaster, and got confirmation on its internal magazine/clip. But digging around a bit more on the comments of the video and internet let me learn even more new things in addition to what the video provided. So here’s 8 New Things We Learned From PSYKSG’s Mega Series Magnus Unboxing Video. This post is going to feature a good amount of speculations, and perhaps a bit of exciting news or two.

November 3, 2013 6:40 PST Edit – I’ve received a bit of clarification for the photos and blaster used in Point number 8. You can check that for an update. I also received a possible answer to where PSYK got his Magnus from, and edited that info into Point 2 of the post.

EDIT #2: PSYK elaborated with me a little bit more on how he came across his Magnus blaster. That’s been edited into Point #3.

Elite Spectre confirmed to be Elite, Singapore Price revealed

The Elite Spectre previously teased in the Singapore Nerf Tournament prizes will also be available in stores, at the very least it’s confirmed for Singapore.

As you can see from the above messaged received by Awesome Nerfer 1999, it will be sold there for $39.90 Singapore dollars. It’s nice to know that this isn’t just a repaint, and that it’ll be getting the good Elite ranges now. I plan on getting one when/if it hits the states here, that barrel is too nice.
